Stage concert postponed due to measles outbreak

December 13, 2019 4:47 pm

A stage concert set to take place tomorrow featuring Top American artists and performers has been postponed to next year.

Founder of the Yaqara Waters Robert Bishop says this is due to the ‘no mass gathering’ notification from the Health Ministry in light of the recent measles outbreak.

He confirms that an indoor performance has been organized tomorrow and is open to the public to witness prominent artists perform music and songs from the early blues to the 90s rock.

“This has been confirmed and the weather. But primarily, the measles. So we not going to do a large gathering now we are doing it in the hall; we going to do a small thing so that at least this men express themselves”.

Bishop says his company will also support a local sevens tournament to be held back to back with the concert that is set to take place towards the end of next year.
