789 were booked for speeding.

Police say this continues to be a worry for all stakeholders that drivers are still completely disregarding the law and have no regard for the safety of other road users.

17, 804 speeding cases have been recorded from January to September 3rd.

The Fiji Police Force says there needs to be a serious attitude adjustment on the part of drivers as statistics show that all warnings and advisories are still clearly falling on deaf ears.

The death toll currently stands at 31, equaling that of the same period last year.
