Speaker of Parliament Dr Jiko Luveni is in London England to attend the Commonwealth Leaders Summit which begins tomorrow.

Dr Luveni was invited by Commonwealth Secretary–General, Patricia Scotland who has called the first ever gender meeting.

The summit is expected to bring a number of women leaders from all parts of the Commonwealth to discuss violence against women and girls, women in leadership and women’s economic empowerment.

Dr Luveni was greeted by Fiji’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Jitoko Tikolevu upon her arrival in London, England.
