The South Pacific Business Development worked with more than four hundred villages from around the country last year.

SPBD Founder and President, Gregory Casagrande says they conducted weekly meetings with women entrepreneurs from these villages to ensure every woman is on the right track with their business.

“This is where our ladies get all the guidance and motivate on and small business training and financial literacy education and things that help them make their business a success.”

Casagrande says weekly meetings is a challenge for them as they have only 42 staff and 6 offices around the country.

He adds SPBD is now working on expanding their services to rural areas due to the demands from women.

They aim to increase the financial assistance given to successful clients this year.
