The South Pacific Business Development dispersed around $12 million in unsecured loans to women across the country last year.

SPBD Founder and President, Gregory Casagrande says this was distributed to more than nine thousand women to assist with the start-up of their own small businesses.

“We are beginning to reach every corner of Fiji and we will continue to expand that way in years to come. We measure our success by the success of our women sand our women are succeeding with our micro businesses allowing them to increase their income, allowing increasing their consumption, allowing them to increase their savings so that they have a more financial security and they can invest in their housing and they can invest very importantly in their children’s education.”
