SPBD aims to works with new villages this year

Plans are in place for the South Pacific Business Development to include new villages in their outreach program for this year.

Some of the new plans will include setting up new offices in the remote parts of Viti Levu and the Northern Division.

SPBD Founder and President, Gregory Casagrande says in reaching to villages one of the main issue that arise is the lack of financial support for women.

Casagrande says more work is needed to get the best out of every women living in the rural communities.

“The major plans for this year are to further grow our outreach to work into new villages, the Rakiraki branch is brand new, and we will have a lot in that region and Viti Levu and the north and the west of vanua levu with the new branch in Labasa we will be doing a lot of growth there and so I see a significant amount of opportunity there.”

Casagrande says they will also ensure all women entrepreneurs are on track with their business.
