SPATS to raise education standards in Theological Colleges

The South Pacific Association of Theological College is working to raise the standards of education in the nine theological colleges in the country.

SPATS President, Reverend Caroline Chambers says securing a partnership with the Fiji Higher Education Commission to help accredit theological colleges will also assist to further enhance their accreditation systems and processes.

“We will show to the schools that we actually want quality theological education so we come into this with the Fiji Higher Education Commission to drive and to move and fulfill this vision we’ve had for many years. "

Rev. Chambers says SPATS is currently providing accreditation programmes to 25 registered theological schools from around the Pacific.

They have now extended their services to Fiji.
