Polling across the Central, Eastern and Western division continues today in 25 polling stations.
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem this hour urging voters in these areas that had to adjourn polling on Election day due to flooding to cast their votes.
“If you have not voted yet, make your way to your Polling Places, Ladies and Gentlemen if you had voted on the 14th of November, you still have to vote again so that your vote is counted. If you do not vote again, your vote will not be counted. 14th November, ballot papers will not be counted, they will be shredded and that is it. So any voter who has not voted or who had voted on 14th November, has to come back and vote again.”
Saneem adds that less than five hours now remain for all those eligible voters in the areas polling today.
Meanwhile, the SOE has also noted that they have received several queries from voters who have not seen their vote results in the various polling venues.
Saneem explains there are several polling stations at some venues and that the imputing of data takes some time.
Those who have cast their votes, he says need not worry as their votes can be verified in time.
