The Social Democratic Liberal Party has revealed why the six names of their remaining proposed candidates were not announced.

During their Annual General Meeting in Lautoka on Saturday, only 45 names were announced but the other six will be revealed at a later date.

However, Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka says revealing the names of the individuals will contradict their work as they are currently part of some Government organisations.

“Some of them can be victimized because they are probably working with some government organisation or close to government and it will compromise their position as servants of the government, it will be seen as political."

Rabuka adds that they will announce the six names when the time is right.
