SODELPA wants a coup-free Fiji

The Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) says it will offer a Fiji where the coup-culture is banished.
Speaking at the opening of the office in Lautoka yesterday, party leader Ro Teimumu Kepa said coups never work.
She said they create havoc and suffering and unleash the dark forces of human nature.
All coups destroy economies. Many full and part time jobs are lost, income slashed and domestic pressures rise. Family units become unstable often ending up in tragic circumstances.
The party invited Fijian rugby league players Lote Tuqiri and Apisai Koroisau from the South Sydney Rabbitohs team to be at the opening of the new office.
