September 2, 2015 10:47 pm

Social Democratic Liberal Party Parliamentarian Mosese Bulitavu has confirmed he is expected to answer to allegations filed by him leveled against the leader of his party Ro Teimumu Kepa on Monday.

Bulitavu says he received formal notification earlier this week with SODELPA’s management board appointing a four member investigating team to look into several issues.

These issues include a damning audit report as well as allegations made by Bulitavu and SODELPA’s principal administrative officer, Mick Beddoes.

FBC understands that the investigating team has been given until the 2nd of October to finalise their report to present to the SODELPA management board.

Bulitavu adds other than himself, five other members of the party have been sanctioned to give testimony to the board in relation to the complaints lodged.

Over the last two weeks, a damning audit report of the SODELPA office operations questioned the use of opposition office funding among other issues, recommending the resignation of the party leader Ro Teimumu Kepa.

In response to the audit, MP Bulitavu initially threatened to resign before he says he was advised by the SODELPA President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu not too, with the management board tasked to investigate the claims.
