The Special General Meeting of the Social Democratic Liberal Party that was supposed to be held today has been postponed to Thursday.

Party officials could not be contacted to say why the meeting was postponed.

SODELPA Secretary Pio Tabaiwalu earlier said that amending the constitution of the party will be one of the major issues that will be discussed in the meeting.

Party leader Ro Temumu Kepa and Party President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu are expected to lead the meeting
