SODELPA lost in 2014 because voters only knew FijiFirst: Rabuka

October 24, 2018 4:45 am

The Social Democratic Liberal Party Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says the party lost in 2014 because voters who turned 18 only knew about a single party back then and it was the FijiFirst Party.

Rabuka made this comment during the launching of the Party’s manifesto for the Western supporters in Nadi last night, after a question was asked on what went wrong with SODELPA during the 2014 General Elections.

“The only government they saw, the only government they heard and the only people they saw in the media were the two, the leaders of the interim government which formed the FijiFirst Party and ran for elections."

Rabuka says they expect a change in the attitude of voters in the upcoming General Election.

He told those that gathered, they’re targeting the younger population of the country.
