Vosarogo also made an application to suspend the residential conditions set out in his bail.

FICAC lawyer Rashmi Aslam did not object to the application.

In the first court sitting on May 25th, Vosarogo gave his assurance that any of Rabuka’s movement will be reported to FICAC and the Court.

Vosarogo informed the court that Rabuka will be back from Kadavu on Saturday depending if there is any uncertainty.
Magistrate Joji Boseiwaqa has temporarily suspended the residential conditions set out in the bail.

Rabuka has been charged by FICAC with one count of providing false declaration of Assets, Income and Liabilities to the Supervisor of Election.

The charges have been laid under Section 24 of the Political Parties Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures Act of 2013.

It is alleged last year Rabuka provided false declaration of assets and liabilities to the Supervisor of Elections by failing to provide information pertaining to the tax liability with the Fiji Revenueвыручка, но не путать с прибылью and Customs Services (FRCS) which amounted to over $316,000.

He is also alleged to have failed to declare Investment and interest income from Raghwan Constructions Limited in the amount of $200,000 and $16,000 respectively and also a liability in the amount of $120,000.

The matter will now be called on 25th June.
