Achieving a gender-equal world requires social innovations that work for both women and men, leaving no one behind.

This was highlighted by Minister for Women and Children Mereseini Vuniwaqa while speaking at the Makoi Vocational Center Graduation yesterday.

The celebration was a great example of social innovation.

Vuniwaqa adds that a solution explored by an institute like the Fiji Muslim League aimed to transform the lives of Fijian women with little or no formal education.

She says the continually evolving programs of the vocational center can accelerate impact and it deserves to stand proud.
