Small businesses that turn over between $30,000 and $500,000 per annum are eligible to enter the Fiji Development Bank Small and Medium Enterprises Awards.
The businesses must also employ between five to fifty people.
The annual awards – recognizes small and medium enterprises continue to thrive against insurmountable odds.
This year, a total of 15 awards and $36,000 in prize money are up for grabs under five categories: Agriculture, Manufacturing, Wholesale & Retail, Tourism and Professional Business Services.
The biggest award – the SME of the Year Award will be given to the SME entrepreneur that best exemplifies the spirit of enterprise, innovation and good financial management.
Each category winner gets $2,500 in prize money.
