SKAL Fiji raises $16K for Vanuatu relief

Governments, organizations and individuals continue to provide their support to help rebuild Vanuatu following the recent havoc that struck Vanuatu last month, and one such organization is SKAL.

SKAL International Fiji which is part of an international group that unites all branches of the travel and tourism industry has successfully raised more than $16,000 over a fundraiser.

The funds have been earmarked for water, food and other items which have been identified by SKAL Vanuatu as much needed product for the community in Vanuatu.

President of SKAL International Fiji Debra Sadranu says they will work closely with SKAL Vanuatu to ensure that items which were needed would be purchased.

SKAL is a professional organization of tourism leaders from around the world promoting global tourism and friendship.

The organization boasts 17,000 members in 400 clubs across 80 nations.
