Six people still in hospital after Nabou accident

Six passengers who were involved in the tragic Nabou accident in Sigatoka two weeks ago are still admitted at the Lautoka Hospital.

This has been confirmed by Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro.

Naisoro says two have been discharged – as a total of eight people were admitted earlier.

FBC News also understands that one passenger still remains at the ICU Unit on life support.

Eight people have died in this fatal accident.

It is believed a minivan travelling to Suva was hit by a truck that was travelling towards Nadi.

Investigation into the matter continues.

The current road death toll stands at 46 so far this year.
