“If construction starts from two months from now, the actual construction will take about two years. So by 2014 the people of Navua will have a brand new facility in terms of this new hospital for Navua subdivision.”

The main reason for the relocation to higher ground was to avoid a repeat of past instance where the old hospital was subject to major flooding of the Navua River.

Funded by the Chinese Government, the new Navua Hospital construction site covers over 3000 square meters.
