Former All Black great Sir Michael Jones will be the keynote speaker at the 2017 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards in February next year.

He recently became a knight companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his work with the Pacific community.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Bill Whiting says Sir Jones is a great ambassador for the Pacific and for the game that is loved by all Fijians.

The entries deadline for the Awards has been extended to Monday October 23.
