There has been significant progress in the redevelopment of the RFMF Black Rock training camp in Nadi.

“But there’s also a role that Fiji I think is very open to in terms of contributing to the broader regions need and it’s just not around pre-deployment training or training in this peacekeeping areas but its also the role the Black Rock camp can contribute as a center for regional humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.”

The facility will not only be utilized for peacekeeping services but for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster relief training which Australia will continue to assist Fiji in.

The redevelopment of Black Rock Camp is expected to be completed by next year.
