Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has again told Opposition and SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka to stop lying to the people.

Speaking to FBC News from Sydney, Australia – Bainimarama says demeaning comments made by Rabuka regarding Fiji’s inclusion in the UN Human Rights Council is shameful.

Fiji’s inclusion in the Council has come with a lot of backlash from the SODELPA Leader and Bainimarama has labeled him as someone who is depreciative of the appointment.

“It’s something that instead of uniting to celebrate this great achievement of Fiji being elected as the first Pacific nation in the history of the human rights council he chooses to again spread lies to the Fijian people.”

Rabuka on his social media page alleges that Bainimarama is a liar who has oppressed human rights since 2006 when he took over government.
