Seven prisoners are on the run after they escaped from the Naboro Maximum Prison early this morning.

Police Chief of Operations ACP Maretino Qiolevu says a joint search by police and corrections officers is currently underway.

The seven prisoners are Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Peniasi Qalibau, Bainivalu Tuimatavesi, Josaia Usumaki, Solomoni Qurai and Mesulame Waqabaca.

Anyone with information of their whereabouts is requested to call crimestoppers on 919 or their nearest police station as the 7 are considered to be dangerous.
