Seven Fijians receive Chevening scholarship

Seven Fijians are amongst sixteen other Pacific Islanders chosen to as recipients of the Chevening scholarship this year.

British High Commissioner, Roderick Drummond says, Chevening Scholarships are awarded to outstanding emerging leaders to pursue a one-year Master’s at any UK university.

Drummond says for this year’s scholars, the UK has spent about one million Fijian dollars.

The scholarship programme provides a unique opportunity for future leaders, influencers, and decision-makers from all over the world to develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.
