A week-long training of evaluators for the Service Excellence Awards has been hailed a success.
American consultant and facilitator Paul Steel says evaluators now have the required skill and understanding to properly judge public service performances.
“All the participants engaged 100%, their corporation, their hard-work, made for a very effective training program. I am delighted to report that in their assessment performance during the training, they now have the confidence and capability of other prestigious awards including the Baldrige award and other notable international awards.”
This is the first training organised by the PSC who now boasts that they are now world class inspectors.
Fiji has adopted a new framework in line with the Training and Productivity Authority’s Malcolm Baldridge Framework.
Fiji has been running the service excellence program since 2005.
