Climate change is still an issue that needs more discussions and open sharing of information that’s important in realizing the fight for a sustainable future.
Climate Champion and Minister for Natural Disaster Inia Seruiratu says we need more ambitious climate actions and constant engagement with non-party actors to encourage sustainable development and innovative solutions.
Speaking at the Global Employers Climate Action Forum Seruiratu says adaptation is an important factor in this region.
“However much more needs to be done and further collaboration and coordination are critical to raise ambition if we are going to achieve success.”
Seruiratu adds this is to meet the commitment that was made in Paris during the COP23 meeting.
He says there’s a need for more initiative in business resilience and enhancing people’s knowledge to address their vulnerability.
