A senior research officer with the Fiji Police Intelligence Bureau has secured a three year secondment term with the International Criminal Police Organisation.
Robert Turaga has held the post for the last seven years and becomes the second member of the Force to be seconded to INTERPOL.
Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho, while welcoming the training opportunity said this will open up the minds of police officers to a world of new possibilities.
Turaga departed Fiji last week and will be based at the INTERPOL Headquarters in Lyon, France.
