Senior citizens of Nadi have been urged to join the Senior Citizens Charitable Trust that will be formally launched tomorrow.

The Charitable Trust which was formed with four people last year has grown to about 250 members.

President Palpana Nand says more senior citizens can benefit from their organisation once it’s formally launched.

“We have intended to have it launched just because we want to give awareness to all the people of Nadi area so they can join and share their experiences with us. Whatever knowledge they have – they can invest here – because this is an investment for the senior citizens.”

The Charitable Trust will be launched by the Women Minister Rosy Akbar.
