July 17, 2016 7:05 pm

In a bid to help Medical practitioners and those in the industry keep abreast with the changes in the laws, a mini seminar was organized by the Fiji Pharmaceutical Society yesterday at Pacific Harbour.

A mini seminar organized by the Fiji Pharmaceutical Society did just that for around thirty members of the Medical fraternity today.

Society President Reshnika Sen says the seminar aims to help better the skills of those in the industry from across Fiji.

“Health professionals spend our lives around science, how to treat patients, how to react and look after our patients but when it comes to business running we are sort of behind compared to our commercial counterparts because they are more equipped with that.”

Participants at the seminar were informed about the new laws that have recently been passed as well as the recent amendments to existing laws.
