A 26-year-old unemployed man was arrested by City Security Officers after he had allegedly stolen a car yesterday morning.

The victim a 69-year-old businessman was loading the vehicle outside a hotel in Suva when the suspect allegedly stole the vehicle.

The victim gave chase in a taxi and managed to cut off the suspect near Knolly Street, where he was apprehended by City Security Officers.

The suspect is in custody as an investigation continues.
