Security officer in custody for breeding Marijuana

A security officer is in Police custody at the Valelevu Police Station after Officers seized plants believed to be marijuana from his home in Nadawa yesterday.

Police Chief of operations – ACP Rusiate Tudravu says, officers from their drug unit raided the man’s home where they found eight pot plants suspected to be marijuana plants.

Tudravu says, the man is being interrogated.

The plants have been taken to the Koronivia Research Station for tests.
