The Fijian Elections will be working closely with the Police Force to ensure security is paramount on Election Day.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohamed Saneem says they will meet with the police commissioner today to discuss more details on the issue.

” We would like to inform all Fijians that the Fiji Police Force will continue to provide the security and create a secure environment for Fijians to come and vote.”

The Police Commissioner in his earlier interview with FBC had revealed they’re also working closely with the RFMF as they also play an important role in the security of the country during an election.

Over 2000 officers will be deployed specifically for elections operation.
