Second suspect in airline drug trafficking case appears in High Court

The second suspect in the alleged Fiji Airways drug trafficking investigations made his first appearance at the Lautoka High Court today.

Justin Ho is charged with one count of unlawful importation and exportation and one count of unlawful possession, manufacture, cultivation and supply contrary to the Illicit Drugs Control Act 2004.

The defense today applied for bail to which the Prosecution requested for more time to respond to the application.

The Prosecution also sought time to file information and disclosures.

Ho is alleged to have on the 23rd of December last year in Nadi without lawful authority facilitated in exporting of two parcels weighing more than two kilograms of cocaine and illicit drugs.

He has been further remanded and will reappear next Wednesday.
