Phase two of the Help for Homes initiative has begun in Wainibuka, Tailevu targeting those who weren’t assisted the first time around.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa says they will visit areas that were assisted in the first phase to help those who might have who missed out.
Vuniwaqa says six hardware companies are part of this initiative – excluding two bigger companies that were removed from the initial list.
”The six companies that have been picked for phase two have done their job in relation to phase one. Those missed out has not a very good record in phase one.”
Eight teams are out in the field while eight others are on standby.
