Second phase of Lagilagi project continues

The second phase of development at Lagilagi settlement in Jittu Estate is progressing.

People’s Community Network Chairman Father Kevin Barr says construction is underway at the site which is expected to be completed by early next year.

It will include seventy four housing units, a community hall, kindergarten, a small produce market, a taxi stand and a Police post.

Low-income earners who are living in squatter settlements will be accommodated.

Once completed decent housing will be provided to hundreds of families from Jittu, Wailea, Nanuku and other settlements within Suva city.
