The seasonal four months ban on Kawakawa (Grouper) and Donu (Coral Trout) comes into effect in three weeks’ time.
The Fisheries Ministry says there will be no harvesting, killing, selling, buying and eating of the two species come June 1st to 30th September.
This is to help the two species repopulate.

The Ministry seeks the support in spreading the word by discussing it with friends, family and even posting it up on their various social media pages.
