The search continues for the suspect involved in the beating and rape of a 9 year old girl in Nakasi, Suva last week.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed there is no lead yet however investigations are continuing.

The incident occurred last Tuesday when the class 4 student was walking home after school.

She was found by her mother meters from their home.

The victim has been discharged from hospital.
