Schools around the country set aside classes yesterday to raise awareness on suicide prevention.

Speaking to students at DAV College, Education Minister, D r Mahendra Reddy reminded all students that they are not alone.

Creative arts came to life as students of Cathedral Secondary School in Suva performed a drama to depict their understanding of suicide prevention, where the students were able to freely discuss the value of life and how to handle difficult situations they may face.

Facilitators for the Youth Champs for Mental Health also reminded them that suicide is not a solution.
