Students across the country are in mufti today as part of an effort by the Ministry of Education to raise funds for victims of Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu.

The Ministry is requesting teachers and students to voluntarily contribute what they can to assist children and schools devastated by the Cyclone.

It had also sent an invite to kindergartens and tertiary institutions to participate in the initiative.

Money collected from the mufti today will be submitted to their district education offices who will then submit it to the headquarters in Suva.
