Education Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has encouraged all schools management around the country to ensure they have acceptable hygienic level in school.
Sayed-Khaiyum made this comments after it was brought to his attention, the poor sanitation in one of the schools in the Central division.
Speaking to FBC News Sayed-Khaiyum says they will look into the matter and it is the duty of the school management to ensure that quality sanitation facilities are provided to students.
”Some schools management board are better than others and there’s also a wash program in collaboration with our development partners in developing various schools sanitation facilities around Fiji.”
Sayed-Khaiyum says students should be given the best and quality learning environment they deserve.
