The Sugar Cane Growers Fund is working on digitizing its services to growers.

The Fund is now evaluating the tenders that were called to provide efficient, modern and technologically backed grower services by mid of next year.

Chief Executive, Raj Sharma says the new system will pave a strategic road map for the Fund.

Raj explains the Fund is looking at a compact, cost effective and modern system in providing digital services and features of online application processing and funding.

He says this will mean growers will be able to get real time balances and loan details online and at any of its branches.

Prior to the new system being implemented, Sharma says a bit of work needs to be done with the current grower data.

He says they will be contacting the growers to update their personal details such as postal address, phone contacts, TIN and other relevant and additional details required.
