The Health Ministry is improving tremendously and yet some politicians have criticised it and this is wrong.

Sayed-Khaiyum says politicians must do fact checks first before making any comments.

During an NFP rally in Nasinu, Bajpai allegedly criticized the existing programs and projects within the Health Ministry and claims mismanagement.

”It costs a lot for patients to buy medicine glucose strips, those testing machines, these are pretty expensive and most of the time it’s not in the government hospitals. In the blood testing in the lab most of the time, that are used to test the blood they are not available and patients continue to go to SOPD and are being told sorry your blood result hasn’t come back so that is a total mismanagement and the old system has to changed”

However, Sayed-Khaiyum says Bajpai doesn’t know what she’s talking about and is irrelevant.

”Unfortunately this is the modus operandi for NFP. NFP is going around Fiji making all sorts of claims without backing it with any facts or whatsoever .This lady I understand also made some comments against Minister Rosy Akbar and Veena Bhatnagar saying that these people are decorating species. This woman is saying this kind of comments against other women. Is this the type of candidate you want? Is this the kind of people that you want in parliament? These are the questions that we need to ask.”

Sayed Khaiyum says comments made by NFP are just cheap political points scoring.
