A hundred and ten residents of Savutalele settlement, off Princess Road in Tacirua, now have access to better water supply after the completion of hydraulic mains improvement works in their area.

Over the years, residents have relied on water supplied via an 80mm PVC line, but with the increase in population, the demand also increased.

This prompted the Water Authority to upgrade the existing 80mm main to a 100mm mPVC main line.
