Saukuru family to miss his Gospel songs

The family of Josevata Saukuru, who is the latest fatality of the fatal Nabou accident, will no longer hear the strum of his guitar, every morning.

Saukuru is the seventh victim from the accident. He was on life support prior to passing away earlier today at the Lautoka Hospital.

Milika Saukuru, Josevata’s mum, speaking to FBC News, says every morning her son would wake them up and sing gospel songs and invite the family to sing with him.

The mother of five says Josevata was her youngest child, and was a form six student of Ratu Navula College.

She says he bid her goodbye on Saturday morning, and they never know it was the final time they would see him alive.

Meanwhile, two people who were passengers in the minibus are still fighting for the lives in hospital.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says that two are still admitted in the ICU and are on life support.

Police investigation continues.
