Samoan PM to visit Fiji tomorrow

The Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaepa Aiono Sailele Malielegaoi will be arriving in the country tomorrow for a three-day official visit.

As part of the visit, the PM will be paying calls to the President of Fiji and is expected to meet with Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama for a bilateral meeting next week Monday.

Malielegaoi will be addressing a gathering at the University of the South Pacific as part of the University’s 50th Anniversary and later pay a visit to the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Suva.

Fiji and Samoa have a strong partnership, as Pacific Island Nations who have spoken together on great challenges faced by people in the region.

This visit by the Samoan PM is another important milestone in friendship shared by both countries, and will build greater bridges of cooperation and solidarity.
