*The Lautoka Rural Local Authority is keeping a close watch on all rural roads that may need repairs following the recent rainy weather.

Chair Faiyaz Ali says they have notified the Fiji Roads Authority about roads that need urgent repair.*

Ali says the priority will be given to those roads that are serviced by buses and other public transports.

He says they will ensure that bus services are not stopped to any of the rural areas due to bad road conditions.
