A ruling on a no case to answer will be delivered this afternoon, involving a former Divisional Police Commander who is alleged to have indecently assaulted a female officer four years ago.

Isei Vueti is charged with one count of indecent assault and one count of annoying any person.

The alleged offence occurred in 2013 and the victim was based in the Lami Police Station.

Defence Counsel, Mohammed Yunnus filed a “no case to answer” as the evidence was inconsistent.
