Future Farms Limited trading as Rooster Poultry has obtained the upgrade of its ISO 9001 accreditation.
The accreditation was obtained following an assessment and audit by Telarc, a leading ISO standards certifier from New Zealand.
Rooster Poultry is one of the first companies in the region to transit well within the transitionary period.
The upgraded ISO 9001 standard released by ISO in 2015 has a global transition deadline to September 2018.
General Manager, Stanely Raniga, says they have also successfully obtained the recertification of ISO 22000, the international standard on Food Safety.
Raniga says Rooster Poultry sells millions of chicken products annually and the quality aspect for Rooster has been through an international benchmarked process.
