Roofs blown off in Bukama village

Villages in Yasawa are now feeling the full brunt of Tropical Cyclone Evan.

Most villagers have left their houses are now sheltering in the village halls which are acting as evacuation centres.

Mereseini Buicagi of Bukama village says wind pressure has increased and they are experiencing heavy rain.

Families have got together as they fear more damage is yet to come.

She says roofs have been blown off by the strong winds.

Affected are few houses and the Bukama Village School.
