One way network in Suva effective from Monday: FRA

A one-way network will be introduced in the Suva City Centre from Monday at 5 am.

The Fiji Roads Authority says these changes will help improve traffic flow, address the continual increase in parking demands and the safety needs of the high pedestrian volumes in the city.

Roads affected include:

  • Goodenough Street: (Full Length) one way westbound from the junction of Gordon Street to the junction with Loftus Road
  • Carnarvon Street: One-way northbound from the junction with Loftus Street to the junction with McArthur Street
  • Carnarvon Street: One-way southbound from the junction with Loftus Street to the junction with Thurston Street
  • Kimberly Street and Loftus Street remain unchanged

Motorists are urged to be conscious of these new changes and follow all road signs.
